Well I swear I tried. Went to several bookstores and somehow most of chinese ones are full of pictures and is devoid of any non-touristy info (i.e. history, politics) and LP still works at the end of the day. I can accept the western slant as long it is a balanced one. Can’t wait to land in Beijing!

Kim’s my good friend who moved to Australia and we put together some photos on Lamma Island during his ‘intense’ visit to HK. This is one of my favourite photos from the set. I shot it in black and white film (to his dismay) and added color filters and a bit of vignetting post-production. I tend to keep things simple for post-work.

I can’t help but feel a little sad that the inevitability of changing life phases , tears apart friendships and even relationships. I do miss Kim and his OCDs and for the very fact that we used to hang out together a lot, bitching about life. Things are so different now.
